A special presentation by Rev. Robert Gamble and his wife Oli on Thurs. Oct 23rd at 5pm in Fellowship Hall
When I first went to Ukraine in 2005, I saw kids living underground, in sewers, dirt basements and in abandoned buildings. A year later I started a non profit called This Child Here and moved to Odessa to help “street kids.” - Rev. Robert Gamble
This Child Here - People Change People
Thousands have fled the was in the east and arrived in Izmail in the west. We provide food and supplies from grocery stores, summer programs in Bulgaria by the sea, Centers for Creative Activities, music, art, sports, and programs led by psychologists. Open seven days a week, ours is a trusting and supportive community. This is the therapy we provide for those who suffer the trauma of was.
www.thischildhere.org is a validated ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Ukraine, helping families displayed by war.
Installation
Sunday

On September 7th EPC hosted Rev. Herrin's Service of Installation as part of the worship that day. The Moderator of the South Alabama Presbytery, along with other pastors from the Presbytery and members of the Geneva church joined us. Rev. Herrin's Princeton Seminary classmate and friend Rev. Dr. Matthew Skinner from Luther Seminary in Minneapolis was the guest preacher. The choir provided glorious music along with trumpet from Joseph Hokenga.
