Tuesday, Nov. 4th at 6pm, EPC Book Club

Community Room

Join us for a discussion of The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by Jim McBride. Here's a description of this NY York Times bestseller: "a novel that blends historical fiction, mystery, and literary fiction, focusing on a diverse community in 1972 Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and the forgotten secrets of the 1930s. The story begins with the discovery of a human skeleton and unfolds into the intertwined lives of Jewish immigrants and African Americans on Chicken Hill, a neighborhood where the titular grocery store is a central hub."

Contact discussion leaders Chris Pruitt or Chris Herrin with any questions. Invite a friend to join us. Sign up on the bulletin board or online so we’ll have an idea of numbers.
