AMP: A Summer Youth Music & Faith Experience

This July, we are excited to offer a new summer opportunity for youth called AMP (Amplify: Authenticity, Music, Purpose).

AMP will take place July 19–22 in the evenings from 5:30pm - 9:00pm, with optional participation in worship on Sunday, July 26 (PC(USA) Youth Sunday). This experience is designed to give youth a place to connect, grow in community, explore music, and engage in meaningful conversations about faith and identity.

Each evening will include dinner and fellowship, small group time, and hands-on music workshops where youth can explore areas such as vocals, percussion, hand chimes, guitar, and songwriting. The goal is for youth to learn and create together, building toward shared music that will be used in worship on Youth Sunday.

In addition to music, AMP will include intentional time for conversation and reflection. We are grateful that Heather Jones Butler, along with her husband Rhett Butler, will help lead the evening wrap-ups, guiding youth in conversations around faith, purpose, and what it means to live authentically.

We hope AMP will be a welcoming space for all youth—both those connected to our church and those in the wider community—to come as they are, try something new, and be part of something meaningful.
